The Department of Electronics & Control Engineering was affiliated in 1987 to study advanced technologies emerged by the rapid developments in computers and their applications. The main research area covers the extended fields based on the electrical and electronic engineering, where students study the advanced control engineering, audio-visual signal processing, the neural networks, the applied information science, the intelligent robotics, etc. The department aims to produce highly-skilled engineers who will contribute to the world-wide evolutions in the future industries.
The students are required to learn computer and control methodologies after obtaining some fundamental knowledges in other engineerings. Therefore, both the trainings at the computer terminals and a one year experimental project in the study rooms are an encouraging moat to acquire the beneficial abilities toward the post-industrial societies.
