４月２２日から７月３０日、タイ・カセサート大学からの短期留学生が各研究室でそれぞれの研究プロジェクトを行いました。 学内の国際交流活動であるInternational CaféやICPの活動等にも参加しました。学生同士の直接的な交流を通じ、異文化や様々な価値観に触れることで視野が広がり、両校の学生にとってグローバルな意識を向上させるとても良い機会になりました。
以下、浅尾研究室所属の２名・久池井研究室所属の１名・富永研究室所属の１名の学生の体験談をご紹介します。
YAMさん
My internship at NITKIT was an amazing experience. I had the chance to work with tools I had never used before and learned a lot throughout the process. I also met many kind and friendly Japanese friends from the lab, Prof. Asao’s group, the English club, the Thai language class, and the International Café. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and made my time there even more enjoyable. I also had the opportunity to travel to many beautiful places around Fukuoka, which was both fun and memorable. Overall, it was a truly valuable and unforgettable experience.
北九州高専でのインターンシップは素晴らしい経験でした。これまで使ったことのない機械を使うことになり、その過程で多くのことを学びました。浅尾先生の研究室、英会話部、タイ語教室、インターナショナルカフェなどで、親切でフレンドリーな日本人の友達にもたくさん出会いました。皆が歓迎してくれて、滞在中、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。福岡周辺の美しい場所を旅する機会もあり、楽しい思い出になりました。全てが本当に貴重で忘れられない経験でした。

This internship was a really great experience for me. I had a chance to try many different tools in Asao sensei's lab and learned new things by doing them myself. I also met Japanese professors and friends who were very warm and welcoming. Their support made me feel comfortable and happy throughout my time here. I also learned about Japanese life and culture. It was fun, exciting, and heartwarming. I enjoyed every moment and felt very happy to be here. It was more than just an internship it was one of the best experiences of my life. I’m very thankful to NITKIT for giving me this special opportunity.
このインターンシップは私にとって本当に素晴らしい経験でした。浅尾先生の研究室で色々な機械を使う機会があり、自分で行う事で新しい事を学びました。日本人の先生や友達、皆がとても温かく迎えてくれました。皆さんのサポートのおかげで、滞在中ずっと、楽しく過ごすことができました。日本の生活や文化についても学びました。楽しく、エキサイティングで、心温まるもので私の人生で最高の経験となりました。このような特別な機会を与えてくれた北九州高専の皆様にとても感謝しています。

My internship at NITKIT was an unforgettable experience where I had the chance to learn through hands-on practice with Tominaga sensei and meet kind friendly Japanese friends in Tominaga sensei lab. My time in Kitakyushu offered me a truly remarkable experience, blending the new normal of local life in Japan. Living in Kitakyushu for two months allowed me to explore a local Japanese lifestyle, more scenic side of Japan, while also immersing myself in daily routines at Kosen that were both surprising and enriching experience the warm support from Thai and Japanese students' friend made me feel welcomed and helped me adapt life in KOSEN more quickly.
北九州高専でのインターンシップは、冨永先生との実践的なプロジェクトを通して学び、研究室では親切でフレンドリーな日本人の友達と出会うことができ、忘れられない経験となりました。地元のタイでの生活と日本での新生活との両方を感じることができ、本当に素晴らしい経験ができました。2ヶ月間の生活や素晴らしいところに旅したりと、様々な体験ができ経験豊かな滞在となりました。タイ人留学生や日本人学生の友達からの温かいサポートのおかげで、北九州高専での生活に早く慣れることができました。

My internship experience at the National Institute of Technology Kitakyushu College is very breathtaking. For my work is to help students at Kosen on their project allow me to use thing that I learn from university. People here are very kind and friendly. I live in Kosen dormitory, the fee is cheap, the room is comfortable, and a convenient store is also nearby. Kosen also has easy access to public transport. Kitakyushu also has many interesting places to visit. I have a chance to visit the Yasukawa robot factory and Furukawa electric wire factory. I also roamed around Kitakyushu and saw many new things. Thanks to very convenient Japanese transport.
北九州高専でのインターンシップは、とても素晴らしい経験でした。私の担当は学生のプロジェクトをサポートする事で、大学で学んだ事を応用することができました。北九州高専の方々はとても親切でフレンドリーでした。キャンパス内の寮は、料金は安く、部屋は快適で、コンビニエンスストアも近く、公共交通機関へのアクセスも便利です。北九州には興味深い場所がたくさんあります。 安川電機と古河電線に工場見学で訪れました。 とても便利な日本の交通機関のおかげで北九州の色々な所へ行き、たくさんの新しいものを見つけることができました。
